The foot pod is easy to pair, and works well with the T6D. Speed and distance are picked up very quickly and changes in running speed are virtually immediately registered by the T6D watch. A few steps are all that is needed to start the pod once paired and it stays on also during pauze in running/walking. It is also quite easy to calibrate, something which is needed for different types of shoes and different surfaces.



According to Suunto's web site, this foot pod delivers three essential functions: Suunto Foot POD allows you to monitor and record your real-time speed, distance, and pace data - essential for runners However, this is not quite true. For users with a T6C or T6D there is no pace data (which I understood to be "cadence" or paces per time unit). It is unclear from the literature and forums but it appears that the T6 may give you pace data, the T6C and T6D certainly do not.



I find this sort of incorrect marketing material very distracting/dishonest. What else is not supported next time I buy a product from Suunto? I absolutely love the T6D, and the foot pod works very well with it (for speed and distance) but I had expected to see my cadence also. 5 stars for given functionality. 1 star for lying. 3 stars as overall result.

I acutally bought this set a few months ago in pink. It is a great price. I'm a newer golfer, so I can't tell you how much if anything its improved my game. But the construction is solid, and to get all of the clubs for that price, its really a great value!

What this trey does is simply hold the Powerblocks at a more convenient angle when moving Powerblocks in and out. My little complaint is the right and left side lips make it difficult to pin the last plate on (at least for the 50 lb. Powerblocks). Aside from that, it seems a bit pricey for a piece of painted metal.

I went and got fitted at a running store over a year ago and the Supernova Glide was the most comfortable shoe I tried on. I wore my first pair for 6 months, putting about 350m on them before I got another pair. I bought my second pair on amazon, and they also fit great right out of the box.



I'm waiting on my 3rd and 4th pair and expect nothing less.



They are on the narrow side compared to a lot of running shoes that I tried on. However, I have very narrow feet, which may be why these were so comfortable for me. I wear each pair for about 300m now, and then move them to daily wear shoes, getting a new pair solely to run in. They are very cushy even after that many miles, but begin losing their support for running. I have a neutral stride and these have been a great option for me.

!$ Skylink SC 1000 Complete Wireless Alarm System

I had an old ADT wired alarm system at my house. After a repeated number of false alarms, I decided to replace it.

I purchased a Skylink system. I used the existing wiring of the windows and doors (in series) in the lower floor of the house, attached to one sensor at the end. I replaced the 12V battery of the sensor with a transformer (output 12V 2 amp) so that I do not have to worry about the battery getting weak. I repeated the exact same thing with the top floor.

This way I can test each floor by opening just one of the windows (or doors) connected to that floor (or series) and use the test chime, instead of the actual alarm, to make sure that the circuit is closed. (The chime goes off when the closed circuit is interupted by opening the door or window, thus separating the contacts).

I used all the contacts available to me as needed.

I used transformers that usually come with hard disks, since I only use one or two at a time.

Drawbacks of the system.

1- The Keypad is not illuminated (minor).

2- The system forgets the assigned zoning occasionally, and you may have the alarm 'armed', but the sensors are not connected. So you have to check every now and then, to verify that the sensors are connected and not 'forgotten'

3- You can arm the system with an open circuit !!!!!!!!!!! There is no indicator on the keypad to verify the status of the zones. (My old alarm had a light indicating that the circuits are closed, in each zone before arming. The chime in this alarm will not sound with an open circuit, when you test it with the chime, but it will arm.

In spite of the fact that there are many things to consider, checking each zone in the alarm takes a few seconds, but an indicator light to rule out an open circuit in a zone, in the key pad would help a lot.

Checking the status of the alarm is very easy simple and quick for someone who understands how it works, but not for the lady of the house who was used to confirm the status by the indicators on the keypad, before leaving the house.

Anything over that and you are hitting shots to the moon and sacraficing distance.
